Miss the legendary Motorola "Chop Twice for Torch" motion? ChopTorch brings calibrated physical double-chop and sideways shake flashlight toggling to your Android phone. No fumbling with lock screens, no invasive ads, no analytics. Just two quick chops and the light is on.
Calibrated with a physical two-stage state machine that models real human wrist dynamics instead of naive shake listeners.
A single hard bump, drop, or running stride will never trigger the flashlight. Our algorithm requires Chop 1, followed by a human hand reset lull (≤5.5 m/sĀ²), followed by a distinct Chop 2 within 180ā850ms.
Listens to your device's hardware proximity sensor. If the phone is inside your jeans pocket, backpack, or resting face-down on a desk, all gesture triggers are strictly suppressed to prevent battery drain.
Runs as an ultra-lightweight foreground sensor service. Double-chop works instantly when walking outdoors in the dark, even while your phone display is locked and sleeping.
Other flashlight apps are notorious for deafening full-screen video ads. ChopTorch has zero advertisements, zero tracking telemetry, and zero network bloat. Pure utility.
Feel a crisp double-buzz click when the torch turns ON, and a solid single click when it turns OFF. You always know your light toggled without having to look at the screen.
Enjoy 4 full weeks of unrestricted access to make sure it works seamlessly on your phone. If you love it, unlock permanent lifetime access for a single Ā£2.99 coffee purchase. No recurring subscriptions, zero ads, plus an optional Ā£0.99 coffee tip.
